This month's reading challenge is to read a memoir or an autobiography. What's the difference between the two you ask? Well, a memoir is a narrative, written in first person, about an important time in the author's life. An autobiography, on the other hand, is also written by and about the author, but instead provides a historical account of author's entire life. In my opinion, memoirs read more like fiction books.
You could also read a biography for this challenge too. The point is to put yourself in someone else's shoes and learn about the experiences and contributions of others. We have lots of great memoirs, autobiographies, and biographies in our library. I've highlighted a few below. Click on the cover images to learn more about each book.
